Quarried in Italy, Calcutta Gold carries a bright white ground broken by bold gold veining, a combination that reads as more dramatic than the finer grey-veined marbles it's often compared to. The thick, striking veins make each slab distinctive, a quality worth accounting for when matching pieces across large countertop runs or bookmatched wall panels.
